How to get to Imperial House
From Bolton
- A58 (Bolton Road) towards Bury.
- As you approach Bury Bridge (National Tyres will be on the left just before the major intersection).
- Move into the left lane and go straight on for Rochdale (B6222).
- Remain in the left lane and go through 2 sets of traffic lights.
- Road sign becomes Rochdale B6222/Rawtenstall A56 (into the peel way inner relief road).
- Mcdonalds and Tescos should now be on your left.
- Road sign becomes A56 Edenfield.
- With Wickes on your left, take the left and filter lane (local sign A56 Rawtenstall) and turn left into Walmersley Road.Take the 3rd road on the left and turn into Birch Street where you should then pass the ambulance depot.
- Then take 2nd left into Hornby Street (Washington Garage will be on the corner).
- Imperial House Reception is opposite on the corner of Barcroft Street.
From Rawtenstall/Burnely/Blackburn
- A58 (M66) towards Bury.
- Take A676 Ramsbottom/Botlon turnoff.
- At roundabout take 2nd exit – A56 Bury.
- At T-Junction turn right into A56 – Whally Road becoming Walmersy Road.
- Go through 8 sets of traffic lights (you will go over the M66).
- Just after a set of shops on your left (including the co-op, hairdressers, chemist) turn right into Birch Street (you should then pass the ambulance depot on your left).
- Take 2nd left onto Hornby Street (Washington Garage will be on the corner).
- Imperial House Reception is opposite on the corner of Barcroft Street.
From Middleton/Manchester/Preswich/Yorkshire
- From M60 or M62 take M66 Bury.
- Exit at junction 2 – A58 Bury/Heywood.
- From the middle lane, take 1st exit and stay in right hand lane (sign – Fairfield Hospital).
- At filter lane turn right into wash lane – ignore any future signs hospital.
- At 4th set of traffic lights at an intersection bear left into Moorgate and move into the right hand lane.
- Cotton Tree pub will be on your left.
- At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right into Walmersley Road, Link House should be on your left.
- Take the 3rd left into Birch Street, the ambulance depot will then be on your left.
- Take 2nd left into Hornby Street (Washington Garage will be on the corner).
- Imperial House Reception is opposite on the corner of Barcroft Street.
